People say that any well-dressed man needs certain people in his corner.They are a tailor, cobbler and barber to name a few.
Your hair is one thing you wear everyday, you want someone that is going to listen. Don't be tempted by the big unisex franchise salons. Not only do you risk not getting the cut you want, but the barber might be unfriendly as well.
It takes time and feedback to get the consistent cut you like. Practice makes perfect, so make sure you and your barber are a team.
Sharps Barbers is aimed directly at the gentleman and has 4 different locations. The Sharps at Ben Sherman in Islington Green is the closest one to me. The barbershop is tucked away in the Ben Sherman store itself. As you enter look out for the stairs with the signs head, up the stairs and turn to the right.
The décor is vintage from the leather waiting sofas, barber chairs and TV. Don't let the décor fool you though as Sharps is anything but old fashioned when it comes to the actual haircuts. If you need something modern or a bit more classic, they’ve got you covered. But don't just take my word for it as Sharps Barbers has also been named one of the top 10 best barbers in London by Esquire UK.
