Pitti Uomo 92 was forecast to be a scorcher.
I apologise for the sparse amount of photos. The weather was a bit of a shock to the system. Even Pitti Uomo regulars said it was unusually hot.

given that this was my first time at Pitti Uomo during the summer, we had to scout spots that were not too bright to wash out the photos or too busy with people desperately trying to stay in the shade. Even indoors the air-conditioning struggled to keep up with the heat generated by the lights and the amount of people.

That all being said, once we got the hang of it, it all started to work out. For the first outfit I wanted to keep things simple to gauge how i would fare in the heat.

I wore a very light pink gingham cotton shirt and Loro Piana cotton trousers from Sartoria Rossi. I generally like my dressier chinos cuffed as it allows the trousers to drape better over loafers. unfortunately I had to roll the cuffs of my trousers as my tailor has been on holiday on some beach somewhere in Sardinia for the past few weeks. I was lucky enough to get my other jacket that I had altered for Day 2.

I paired the trousers and shirt with a Turnbull and Asser Linen Tie and my favourite Scabal hopsack summer wool blazer. This is the same Scabal Hopsack blazer I wore for the Farfetch post and the Lana Fresco post. I wore my Extra Fino Panama hat with the DIY converted band, and my favourite pair of Harvard Crockett and Jones Loafer.

Given that I am studying to become an leather goods artisan, I thought it only natural to bring a bag that I made and designed myself.
