We recently had the pleasure of hosting evening cocktails with Arterton London to mark the start of our first trunk show in London.
The Princes Arcade holds a special place for me. Back when I worked for Crockett & Jones, I would often walk through the arcades during my lunch break, admiring the menswear boutiques. At the time, I dreamt of one day commissioning my own bespoke suit or jacket — though I knew it was unlikely.
Almost ten years later, I found myself standing in the very same arcade wearing a bespoke jacket. The only difference was that this time, I had made the jacket myself — and I was helping to host the event.
Since beginning my tailoring journey under Maestro Paolo Lentini of Atelier Forbici d’Oro, new opportunities and connections have been opening up. It almost feels like a sign from the universe that I’m on the right path.
One of those connections was William from Arterton London. Honestly, without him and his team, this event would not have been possible — let alone the success it became.

Arterton London is located at 12 & 13 Princes Arcade, They offer an exceptional range of leather goods, shoes, hangers, and suit bags. They’re also the leading supplier of garment bags and hangers to many of the tailors on Savile Row. Beyond retail, their private showroom regularly hosts traveling tailors and is equipped with fabric bunches, a full-length mirror, and a minibar. You may have seen it featured in other tailors’ content without realizing it.
Throughout the evening, we showcased garments at various stages of construction — including a 100% vicuña jacket made from Dormeuil. We also displayed several Dormeuil fabric bunches, including the coveted vicuña swatches, thanks to Alec Parkinson from Dormeuil.
