Hey everyone! I have always been fascinated by 1940's fashion.
from a young age I wanted to be like a mafioso on the movie screens.
I wasn't so much interested in the violence, although who as a kid didn't play cops and robbers.
I was in awe at how these hoodlums could be so well dressed. I was also intrigued by the respect these gangsters could show each other even if the matter concerned a rival family.
I have always wanted to channel this in to an actual outfit and I thought a navy double breasted blazer with dress pants would do the look justice. I have been looking for an unstructured navy blazer for a while and I got lucky in Japan with my Comme Ca Ism Blazer. I paired the blazer with my Orient Star watch and C4LA hat that I got from Japan as well. Since no gangster outfit is complete without a fedora.
